TEK.Village is more then a project, it is our collectives effort to bring together underrepresented artists and/or vulnerable communities to create site-specific, interdisciplinary, collaborative artworks at The Technology Village. Our goal is to address the idea of "alienation" - from nature, from society, from ones self - and how technology could be an ally within an interdisciplinary A/r/tography residency model. This collective effort will culminate in a public art event with site-specific works surrounding themes of technology, ecology, alienation, and terrestrial/extraterrestrial space.
